About Oscar
I am currently a toxicology masters student at the University of Birmingham, with a bachelors degree in Pharmacology from the University of Southampton.
I have always been passionate about the sciences, and constantly full of excitement to share what I have learnt with others. I have often help guide my peers and given tutoring to close family friends. There have been times where I struggled at school in part due to my dyslexia but it is my goal to help every student achieve their maximum potential. As well as ultimately enjoy and appreciate science.

I believe the best method teaching is always going to be specific to the student and in part creating a passion for the subject. Therefore, my method of teaching will be flexible to the student however it is usually reliant on the following things:
-Diagrams and visual cues
-Giving real life examples
-Practicing questions
-Open ended questions to encourage understanding
-Offer useful outside reading
I have often helped my peers throughout university and school as well as given tutoring to various family friends. I aim to give support to those who need it, I often had periods where I struggled due to my dyslexia and have since used that experience to help those who are in need.
