About Amal
I am a pharmacy student who has previously done A levels. I have tutored privately for 2 years and want to tutor on a larger scale. I bake on my off days and go for regular walks to de-stress. I am specialised in the science field, but for younger students (KS3 and less) can teach English and religious studies.

My teaching method is to let the students do the work. Students tend to feel more accomplished if they feel that they understood the work themselves. I’m simply there to nudge them in the right direction as I feel that feeding answers to student will never be successful. I tend to ask my students regular questions so they can ponder on why they are doing what they’re doing. I like to follow a set form of working which is why I love maths more than creative subjects. I am a firm believer in knowing the reasoning behind why you’re doing something rather than blindly doing it.
