About Rachel
I have a BA in Art History and Ancient Civilizations, MA in Ancient Greek and Roman Civilizations, and a PhD in Art History. I have worked at colleges and universities since around 2018, and been a professor since 2023. Having written many essays and theses, including my dissertation, and presented at various conferences/lecture series, I am a capable and knowledgeable individual who will help you to achieve your goals. I am personable and highly determined and passionate about what I do and hope to help others find that passion or to at the very least pass that next test or essay assignment.

I listen to the needs of my students and help them to reach their desired goals. Having worked as a college/university professor, I have engaged with diverse students and learned to adapt my teaching method to their needs. Also, having been a student myself, I have learned many different study skills and know that what works for one student won't necessarily work for all and I'm eager to help you learn what works best for you. For those in high school or heading off to college, I have run workshops on study skills and adjusting to college life for neurodivergent students and will happily help you to be your best self as you start your next educational chapter. A last note, I can teach study skills and techniques, writing, proofreading/editing, history, and so on at all ages.
