About Charutha
I started teaching Physics and Maths at GCSE and A level almost 4 years ago. After the first month of lessons, my student went from 49% to 96% (Physics, Yr 10). I was told that I was really good at making her feel comfortable & increasing her confidence. I've finished a PhD in Astrophysics and and MSci in Physics so I'm skilled with numbers & science in general. I'm also very good at communicating and it gives me great joy when someone goes from not understanding something to understanding it.

I tailor my lessons based on the needs of the student because every student is different. I have a solid understanding of the concepts and I'm very good at describing them in a way that is easy to understand and remember. I genuinely find Physics and Maths really fun and interesting! I want to pass on some of that enthusiasm to my students, because it's a lot easier to learn the knowledge and skills with a little bit of passion. I also focus on exam technique, because I know how important grades are to getting into a good university and setting up a good future.
