About Thea
I hold a PhD in Biology and have over 6 years of teaching experience, working with school, college, and university students. My academic background includes research and teaching assistant roles, which have equipped me to explain biological topics clearly and in depth. I’ve helped numerous students prepare for competitive exams, complete coursework, and pursue their science goals. My teaching style is patient, personalized, and interactive. I focus on understanding the student’s level and learning needs, then tailor each session accordingly. I believe that every student can succeed in biology if the content is made relatable and the learning environment is encouraging. I strive to make biology more than just memorization—it should be something students can apply and appreciate. Outside of teaching, I stay updated with scientific developments and education techniques, integrating the latest findings into my lessons when relevant. My biology lessons are designed to make learning interactive, clear, and meaningful for students at all academic levels. Each session is structured to build a solid foundation in biological concepts while encouraging critical thinking. I use a variety of teaching tools such as diagrams, real-life examples, and digital resources to make difficult topics more accessible and engaging.
I specialize in Human Physiology and Ecology, two core areas of biology that form the basis for many academic and professional paths. In Human Physiology, we explore the functioning of body systems, from cellular mechanisms to organ functions. In Ecology, we study interactions between organisms and their environments, energy flow, and biodiversity. Lessons are adapted based on the student’s syllabus and learning pace.
Assignments, lab reports, and exam preparation are a key part of my sessions. I work closely with students to identify weak areas and provide targeted practice and feedback.
