About Ben
I hold a Masters in Chemistry from St. Chad's college at Durham University, and am currently undertaking a doctorate in Computational Chemistry at Newcastle University.
I have been tutoring for 5+ years, and have an ethos of letting tutees dictate the style and emphasis of my sessions. I can give gory details beyond the syllabus for anyone who feels like some details/concepts come out of nowhere and are told by the teacher "not to worry about it" (that was me in school); or I can distil the essential information in an easy to understand package for those that are just scraping by. Ben is a clear and concise tutor who helped me understand any and all concepts I had a problem with, by going back to the fundamentals and building up from there in an intuitive way. The topics I found the hardest became free marks, and with his help I achieved my A*.
