About Jennifer
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Manchester, having previously studied for the BA in English at the University of Cambridge, and the MSt in English at the University of Oxford. I specialise in modern and contemporary literature, and work as a tutor alongside my PhD work. I am optimistic, enthusiastic, and keen on student-led teaching. I hope to be able to provide some insider knowledge on what it takes to excel in an academic context, and am passionate about teaching students of all abilities.

I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of students, and start all my tutees off with an introductory session to establish goals and needs. Generally, I provide 1 hour tutoring sessions on a huge variety of topics, and have knowledge and experience of GCSE and A-Level English for AQA, OCR, WJEC and more. Aa an undergraduate I studied English literature from 1300-present day, and then specialised in literature 1900-present day in my masters at Oxford.
I can teach a wide range of ages and abilities, and am happy to discuss all needs further at your convenience.
