About Dan
I am currently in the second year of my PhD and obtained a distinction level Masters (MSc) in Cognitive Neuroscience and a first class honours bachelor of science (BSc) in Psychology. I have experience in designing experiments, data collection, analysis and and writing reports. I also teach statistics, mark scientific papers and help tutor third year students dissertations. My area of expertise is facial recognition, vision, perception and cognition.

My style of tutoring is to fascinate and facilitate your individual growth as a psychology student. I will get to know you in order to tailor my tutoring to fit your need and learning style.
In order to effectively tutor you, I will need to get to know you a little, this will help me prepare material to help you learn. Therefore, the first lesson is always free!!
Depending on your level of study I will help you understand your current topics or modules in greater detail. For example:
Undergraduate level:
I can help you with assignments by providing detailed feedback on drafts, teach you how to find and reference reliable primary resources, help format your essays and improve your writing style, I can also help you choose, conduct and report your statistical analysis.
A-level:
I can help you understand the approaches of psychology including cognitive, biological, behavioural, psychodynamic and humanistic schools of thought. I can help you with assignments by providing detailed feedback on drafts and teach you how to find and reference reliable primary resources, help format your essays and improve your writing style.
