About Kristin
I am a current PhD candidate near completion that lives in the Marlborough Sounds.
I have done a lot of tutoring work during my degree both in person and online. I really enjoy helping others succeed especially when I can change their belief about their ability to do so.
I have a young son who I homeschool due to our remote location. This means I have free time available to do online work.

I believe that everyone has the ability to achieve in mathematics. I am able to teach new concepts and help revise concepts already taught.
I generally try to make a concept more accessible to students by finding a simplified way to explain the concept. Complex language is often a barrier for people to understand some mathematical problems.
I really enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds and ranging in ages from young children to older adults
