About Albert
Copilot said: I am a PhD-trained polymer scientist and graduate assistant with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students in STEM subjects. With experience in chemistry, materials science, mathematics, engineering fundamentals, and scientific research, I aim to help students build both confidence and a deeper understanding of the material they are learning. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, focusing on clear explanations, structured problem solving, and practical understanding rather than memorization. I strive to create a professional and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, improving their skills, and achieving their academic goals.

My approach as a tutor focuses on helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing answers. I break down difficult topics into manageable steps, encourage active participation, and adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals. A typical lesson begins with identifying problem areas or goals for the session, followed by clear concept explanations and guided problem-solving practice. I then encourage students to apply what they have learned independently while providing feedback and strategies to improve their understanding and study habits.
What sets me apart is my combination of advanced academic training, research experience, and supportive teaching style. As a PhD-trained polymer scientist and graduate assistant, I have extensive experience in analytical thinking, scientific problem solving, and mentoring students in STEM subjects. I offer tutoring for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in chemistry, mathematics, engineering fundamentals, polymer/materials science, research skills, and introductory MATLAB or data analysis. Whether students need help with coursework, exam preparation, assignments, or research-related topics, I tailor each session to their academic level and individual learning needs.
