About Shirley
I am a bioanalytical chemist with special interests in cancer biology, bio-environmental chemistry, biomolecular spectroscopy, water quality, harmful algae blooms, chemistry education and environmental education. I started tutoring in 2013 at UNC Chapel Hill, NC. Students that want to learn to how to take their studies to the next level got an A or B in their class of 400 students.

My teaching method for high school is repetition.
College level teaching style: Based off what area in chemistry you are having issues with, I will create practice problem packets for you to work through. As difficulty in answering the problems arise, I help you work through it by explaining key concepts you are missing to connect the dots.
