About Sudeshna
I am a passionate Chemistry educator with a PhD from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR, India) and several years of postdoctoral research experience abroad. I completed my BSc in Chemistry from Lady Brabourne College and MSc in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), securing First Class. I completed my schooling at B.E. College Model School and stood first among girls in the Howrah district in the Secondary Examination in 2007.
Alongside my research career, I have always been deeply passionate about teaching and helping students discover the beauty of science. I believe that every student can learn and excel when concepts are explained with clarity, patience, and enthusiasm. My academic journey, research experience, and teaching passion allow me to bring both strong subject knowledge and a practical perspective to my classes.

I believe science should not be taught merely as a collection of facts, formulas, and reactions. I teach Chemistry and Science like a story, connecting concepts with real-life examples, interesting questions, and logical reasoning. My goal is to help students understand "why" something happens rather than simply memorize it.
My classes are interactive and designed to encourage students to ask questions, think independently, solve problems, and develop ideas beyond the textbook. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations while gradually developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
A typical class includes concept discussion, examples, guided problem-solving, interaction, and a short review to check understanding. I also encourage students to read books beyond their textbooks because I believe reading develops curiosity, imagination, and independent thinking.
My classes are intended for students from **Class 7 to 12** and **BSc students studying Physical Chemistry**. I aim not only to help students perform well academically but also to develop them into curious, confident, creative, and independent learners who can think beyond the box.
