About Jack
Hi, I’m Jac, a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I hold a PhD in Computational Mineral Physics and an undergraduate degree in Geophysics, both from UCL, where I also conducted postdoctoral research exploring the structure and composition of Mars. Currently, I’m studying for an MA in Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia), which has deepened my understanding of how to tailor learning strategies for different needs. As someone who has navigated my own dyslexia, I’m passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning experience for every student. I also have an up to date enhanced CRB check. I combine my passion for science with a personalised approach to tutoring, ensuring students not only grasp key concepts but also gain the confidence to excel in their exams and beyond.
