About Moises
I am an MSc Economics graduate from the Scottish Graduate Program (University of Edinburgh) from Latin America. I currently am an incoming PhD in Economics. In my Msc dissertation I exploited a quasi-random event and used econometrics techniques such as Diff-Diff and Synthetic control. I can tutor either in Spanish or English. Back home, I used to teach to undergrad and high school students. Here, I am keen to tutor undergrad students struggling (or not!) with metrics, microeconomics, and those who would like guidance with dissertation. Oh! I almost forget, I am a fan of Joshua Angrist.

My classes are based in theory and practice. First, I like my students to understand how the estimators are derived and which are the theoretical properties. But, I also consider very important to understand empirically the benefits and limitations of the techniques. Besides, I want my students to comprehend which tools can be applied, why and when. Then, we can work on specific problem sets that you are struggling with.
