My approach is flexible, student-focused, and grounded in clarity. I aim to make complex ideas easier to grasp by connecting them to real-world examples and encouraging open discussion. Whether you're stuck on an essay, prepping for an exam, or trying to get your head around theory, I’ll adapt the session to suit your goals and learning style.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust based on what works best for you.
I’ve taught university-level courses in international relations and tutored courses in European politics, and I hold a PhD in Politics from the University of Otago. I’ve been helping students with everything from research skills to critical thinking.
My lessons are ideal for university students (undergraduate or postgraduate), but I’m also happy to support advanced high school students or adult learners with an interest in politics, writing, or the social sciences more broadly.
