About Gregg
I'm Gregg, a UBC-trained researcher and university instructor with a PhD in Neuromechanics and seven years of teaching experience at UBC and Capilano University. I've designed and delivered full courses in Kinesiology, physiology, and neuroscience.
My approach is direct and low-pressure. I ask questions first, listen carefully, and tailor every session to what you specifically need; whether that's catching up, exam prep, or building a stronger foundation from the start.

My sessions are built around figuring out exactly where your understanding breaks down — then fixing it systematically. I ask questions, identify the gap, and work forward from there.
A typical session starts with a quick diagnostic: what did you cover, what's not clicking, what's coming up on the exam. From there we work through the material conversationally, with me checking comprehension at each step rather than just explaining and moving on.
I work primarily with undergraduate students in Kinesiology, Nursing, Biology, and pre-med programs. Courses I regularly cover include human physiology, neurophysiology, anatomy, motor control, and biomechanics. Exam prep, midterm crunch, or building foundational understanding from the start.
What separates me from most tutors is that I've actually taught these courses. I know the material at a depth that lets me explain the same concept five different ways until one lands.
