About Robert
Many instructors may not begin by saying that they struggled in the area that they aim to tutor. But I believe my struggles to learn math are a large part of what makes me a good tutor.
Despite my personal and academic challenges, I earned BA in Math & Physics, MA in Math and a PhD in Math.
I believe in personalized learning plans. I taught virtually through the pandemic and I am very comfortable with virtual instruction. I have had over 10,000 students in my time teaching and I can use what I learned from those students to guide you to success.

I taught through the pandemic and I have a variety of creative ways to teach math virtually. With inexpensive writing boards we can work problems live and simultaneously.
I work with every student to formulate a customized learning plan that includes content focus areas, test taking strategies, customized supplemental exercises, and most importantly, I will strengthen areas that you believe are most important.
I have large Open Educational Resource (OER) banks of free, uncopyrighted materials for you to use and share.
For interested students, I can create "smart notes PDFs" with embedded resource links to videos, interactive supplements and more.
And after 20 years of teaching math, I am comfortable building a lesson however you need. We can focus on instruction, exercises, blend both, or any other format that will increase your success.
