About Oluwaseyi Paul
I'm a PhD engineer and Senior IEEE Member, and I've been teaching and researching for over ten years across three countries. I did my doctorate in Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University, my Master's in Electrical Engineering at Wits, and my undergrad in Mathematics at the University of Ibadan, so I genuinely enjoy both the theory and the hands-on engineering side of things.
Since 2017 I've taught university courses including Engineering Mathematics, Applied Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics for Engineers, Signals and Systems, Digital Communication Systems, Python for Network Programming, Machine Learning Fundamentals, Cybersecurity Foundations, Mobile Computing, Advanced Networking, and Engineering for Space Environment. Some of my classes had over 220 students. I've also advised doctoral and master's students, supervising their research from start to finish.
I still do active research with over 30 published papers in AI, machine learning, signal processing, and wireless communications. That keeps me sharp and means I'm always connecting what I teach to what's actually happening in the field.
I moved to New Jersey in 2025 and I'm tutoring students across the US now. I'm patient, I adjust to how you think, and I genuinely won't move on until something clicks for you.

My lessons are structured around your specific needs and learning goals. A typical lesson begins with identifying your exact difficulty and not just the topic, but the specific concept causing confusion. I then explain it using multiple approaches: mathematical derivation, real-world engineering examples, and live MATLAB or Python demonstrations where relevant. I believe every student learns differently, so I never rely on a single explanation.
What sets my lessons apart is the combination of deep research expertise and genuine classroom experience. I have taught Engineering Mathematics to classes of over 200 students, supervised postgraduate research, and published 27 peer-reviewed papers in AI, signal processing, and wireless communications. I bring that depth into every tutoring session. I deliver it with patience and clarity, not complexity.
