About Bren
I am a qualified Chemist with a PhD in Chemistry from Curtin University (Perth, WA). I have been teaching Chemistry (university level, private tutorials) since 2009. I believe in lifelong learning and in the different styles of learning.

(Aside from classroom and laboratory teaching, I also did private tutorials for high school and university)

I believe in active learning. The student approaches the lesson with a working background knowledge and then try to apply what they are learning immediately after via different means (based on an assessment at the start of the meeting to gauge what the student already knows and what needs to be improved).
I also make the lessons more tailored depending on the student's need so if it's a specific topic for a specific exam then we go through it immediately.
