About Mohammed
I offer friendly, structured, and highly personalised maths lessons that focus on deep understanding and steady confidence-building. My teaching style is clear, step-by-step, and tailored to each student’s needs.
Although I am new to formal tutoring, I bring strong academic experience as a PhD student in Quantum Computation at UCL, with a First-Class background in mathematics and physics. I am patient, supportive, and able to explain complex ideas simply.
My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling clearer, more confident, and happy with their progress. I also offer a free first trial lesson so we can plan your goals and learning approach.

I always start with a short diagnostic session using a past paper. This helps me see exactly what the student already understands, what topics they find difficult, and how they approach questions. From this, I create a targeted plan, so we spend time only on the areas that genuinely need improvement.
In each lesson, I first teach the topic clearly and intuitively. Then I go through an exam-style question on the same concept. I explain the method, show how to break the question down, and model the complete solution. After that, I guide the student through answering the question themselves so that the technique becomes natural and repeatable. Over time, students learn not only the content but also how to think in a structured, exam-ready way.
For teaching, I use a tablet connected to my laptop so I can write, draw diagrams, work through steps, and clearly show each stage of the solution just like a digital whiteboard. This makes lessons more visual, interactive, and easier to follow.
