About Natalia
Biology has been a passion of mine since school, where I achieved top grades in both GCSE Biology and A-level Biology. My interest in the subject began with wanting to work in the pharmaceutical industry and later developed into a fascination with human biology and medical research.
I am particularly interested in immunology, the brain, and the cardiovascular system, which is why I am now completing a PhD focused on neurovascular immunology and dementia, with prior experience as a scientist at globally renowned institutes in the UK and mainland Europe including Oxford University. I especially enjoy helping students understand human biology and showing them how different systems in the body connect and work together.
I mainly support GCSE students, and I know that biology can seem overwhelming at first so my aim is to make it feel much clearer, more logical, and easier to approach with confidence.

My lessons are mainly designed for GCSE Biology students, although I also teach A-level and undergraduate students who need support with biology topics.
I use a clear, step-by-step teaching approach that focuses on understanding rather than memorising, focusing on exam technique and common areas students find difficult, helping students build both confidence and subject knowledge.
A typical lesson lasts 30 or 60 minutes, using a remote video platform. During the lesson, we usually review a topic, work through examples or exam-style questions, and finish with a summary of the key points.
I have over 6 years of tutoring experience privately and on various business platforms, as well as teaching experience as a university lab demonstrator and BSc student supervisor. I also hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification.
