Hemant Sir is a mathematics Ph.D. scholar and I have been learning mathematics for some time from him. His way of thinking about a problem is quite different from others. He focuses more on intuitive ideas rather than just solving a problem. He is very dedicated about his teaching responsibilities and keeps us extremely motivated. He has great knowledge in almost every area of mathematics. Also, he is a really genuine person and passionate about sports and personality development.

He is a fantastic teacher. He puts his full effort in explaining concepts, visualising them. He gives nice perspective to see the things/calculations. This makes subject easier and interesting. This finally develop true interest towards the subject. He motivates a lot. He tries to answer all the questions, however basic it is, happily. He is willing to answer same question repeatedly with full enthusiasm. He is very nice human being.

Hemant is very patient and understanding while teaching. He makes sure the concepts are understood properly. And gives good perspective on problems. He goes over concepts until the students understands it clearly.

I came to know about Hemant from his days in TIFR because of his great deal of achievements in several prestigious National Level Exams. That's when I started studying with him and I found that he is really an abundant source of knowledge and I have grown up to be very satisfied with the kind of progress I have made with him. The best part about him is that he has his own unique set of problem solving skills which makes learning with him super fun and exciting . He himself is generally very quick but he takes care of the student's pace and genuinely bothers if the student is grasping the stuff or not. In addition to that, he is very considerate and understanding about the kind of pressure a student usually faces both in and out of academics. Overall, I am really very happy about my decision to learn Mathematics from Hemant and I would firmly recommend him to anybody who wants to learn the subject.

I know hemant for few years now. Mathematically he is brilliant. As a human being he is amazing . Expect great clarity while he explains something . Many of us forget our own struggles while teaching something, I think hemant remembers his . So he can often address the heart of the matter where the conceptual difficulties lie. Once past the fundamentals ,he also technically and computationally gifted (as his profile clearly shows! ).He will share his understanding generously. Finally he is patient and compassionate and accepting , so anybody learning under him can join in the conversation,unafraid. He will also get genuinely invested in student’s problems and their academic goals ,and really try to contribute (Many of us who know can vouch for this personally). And finally he will smile ,no matter what come! Anybody studying under him will be lucky.

He was my classmate at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. I had many opportunities to learn from him, one-to-one and in the lectures he gave. He makes complicated things simple and understands learner's needs perfectly.
