About William
My career started off in the chemical and biotech industries. I have worked for GSK and Avecia and enjoyed the problem solving, and practical hands-on aspect of working in industry.
Since 2007 I have been employed in education; teaching in schools, colleges, university and as a trainer in industry. At present I work in an international school teaching Chemistry and physics. I feel that all educators should first have used their disciplines in 'real life' environments to be truly effective teachers. Though I have been tutoring for many years, since 2012, I exclusively offer online tutoring for reasons of convenience.

I am a PhD qualified scientist and educator. My students are helped grasp the underlying principles of physics and chemistry. My methodologies change depending on the student, as each student has thier own style of learning and thier own set of strong and weak points. I tutor physics and chemistry from gcse to A level, Nat 5 to advanced higher and IB.
