About Rosa
Hi there! My name is Rosa and I am a lifelong student and academic. I graduated top of my class in high school (top grade in science courses) and received an Honors Bachelor of Science with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. I am currently finishing up my PhD in medical science. I've tutored many high school students and helped them improve their grades by at least 1-2 letter grades! I have also taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Toronto. I am very friendly and easy-going, but I will challenge you in your learning. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate various session times.

I love working with youth and young adults (high school, college, standardized tests like MCAT, undergraduate, and graduate levels) to help them achieve academic excellence. My approach to teaching is learner-centered. I can offer traditional instruction techniques or creative learning strategies! I like to structure my lessons to begin with a concrete learning objective, review of previously learned concepts, and spend a majority of the time tackling student-specific challenges. I am very open to feedback. Whether it's trying to improve your grades, preparing for an upcoming exam, or learning materials beyond the curriculum, I am looking forward to working together to help you achieve your specific goals!
