Offering homework or exam-prep lessons for students in biology, cell biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry. I am a PhD student in Botany at UBC with a B.Sc. degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
My teaching experience:
- Evolution, Ecology, and Genetics
- Cell Biology
- Molecular Biology
My teaching philosophy:
Students learn best when they are personally invested in their learning. I will foster understanding of concepts by curating lessons to pique the curiosity of students and by encouraging inquiry-based learning. Ultimately, I want students to have autonomy over their own learning, and to empower students to find the answers they seek.
