About Arthur
I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2018 with a first-class MMath degree, with a focus on set theory, algebra and topology. Since 2019, I have been pursuing a PhD in mathematics in London, and tutoring privately on the side. I have an up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate.

I'm a London-based maths tutor with 500 hours of experience helping students get the best possible mark on their GCSE, A-level, and university exams. I have worked with students whose goal was to pass their resits and students whose goal was to achieve an A* or a first; I take a personalized approach to my teaching, always tailoring my lessons to the needs and goals of the pupil.

Arthur is a very professional tutor. He is thoughtful and intelligent - and committed to achieving results for the students that he works with. He works hard to build a great rapport with the students, so that they enjoy their tuition sessions, as well as make excellent progress.
I taught Arthur for 3 years of his maths degree. He is a fine, first class mathematician. He is friendly and caring, and trained as a student peer counsellor, in which role he made even more friends.
