About Pooja

Hello! I’m Pooja, a passionate and patient teacher from India, and I love helping children discover the joy of reading.

I have always believed that every child can learn when they are given the right guidance, encouragement, and enough time to learn at their own pace. My teaching journey has helped me understand that children don’t just need information—they need a teacher who can make learning feel comfortable, interesting, and achievable.

I specialize in teaching phonics and early English reading skills. I particularly enjoy working with young learners who are beginning their reading journey or need extra support with sounds, blending, pronunciation, and word reading.

As a teacher, I am **friendly, patient, organized, and attentive to individual learning needs**. I don't believe in rushing children or making them feel uncomfortable when they make mistakes. Instead, I encourage them to try, practice, and gradually build confidence.

I use simple explanations, repetition, stories, activities, and interactive practice to keep children engaged. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where children look forward to their lessons.

I have also experienced learning English from a regional-language background, so I understand that learning English can sometimes feel challenging. This experience helps me explain concepts in a simple and child-friendly way.

For me, teaching is not only about completing a lesson. It is about seeing that wonderful moment when a child suddenly understands a sound, reads a new word independently, and feels proud of themselves.

Hello! I’m Pooja, a friendly and patient phonics teacher who loves helping children build a strong foundation in English reading.

Does your child know the alphabet but still struggle to read simple words? Do they confuse sounds, guess words, or find reading difficult? Don’t worry! With the right phonics approach and regular practice, reading can become much easier and more enjoyable.

My phonics classes are designed for *young learners and beginners*, especially children who are just starting their reading journey.

In my lessons, we work on:
Letter sounds & sound recognition
Blending sounds to read words
Segmenting words for spelling
Listening & sound discrimination

Sight words & common word patterns

I believe children learn best when they are actively involved. Instead of simply memorising sounds, I use *stories, games, pictures, activities, repetition, and guided reading* to make every lesson engaging.

My teaching is structured and progressive, so children gradually move from *individual sounds → blending → words → sentences → independent reading*.

Every child learns at a different pace, so I adjust my lessons according to the child's age, level, learning needs, and progress. I maintain a *patient, encouraging, and judgment-free environment* where children feel comfortable making mistakes and trying again.

My goal is not just to help your child read a few words. I want to help them develop the *phonics foundation, pronunciation skills, and confidence* they need to become independent readers.
