About Alexandra
I taught workshops for Montreal Photo Course from about 2015 to 2018 and have continued to give private lessons on and off since then, depending on my workload and availability.

I've loved taking photos since I was gifted my first disposable camera at the age of 7 years old. In my early twenties, I attended workshops to deepen my knowledge and learn to use my DSLR properly. In time, I actually started teaching those workshops. Still unsatisfied with my knowledge, I pursued my studies and obtained a diploma from Concordia University in Professional Photography as well as another in digital imaging (Photoshop!) in 2017.
I can help you learn how to fully use your camera. Create a shallow depth of field, take photos in low light situation, take actions shots or any other situation that could interest you :) I am also able to teach you the basics of editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. For more advanced students, we can also explore studio lighting for portraits or full body shots.
