About Jaylene
I am an applied physicist with published scientific research in nano technology and renewable energy. I also have worked in promoting STEM education and STEM funding in underfunded communities. I started tutoring math and science in the high school program Avid as an Avid Tutor about 6 years ago and then went on to tutor in college in physics, applied mathematics and later in renewable energy. I worked in both one on one and in groups. Overall my students have passed their exams and classes and have been top of their class.

My teaching lesson is based on having my students understand the error and then teach them how to approach a problem. I let them walk me through their approach step by step and seeing how they think. Then use my notes to ask questions or make suggestions on how they should move forward allowing them to develop critical thinking skills.
