About Adrián
I hold a degree in physics, a master's in physics and electronics, and a PhD in electronics. I have experience tutoring students of all levels. I like to teach clearly and in a way that is tailored to each individual. I prepare lessons according to the student's needs and monitor their progress to ensure they are truly making progress, not just passing. I aim for students to understand what they are doing, gain confidence, and feel comfortable asking questions. I create a friendly environment while maintaining a methodical and serious approach. I offer tutoring for high school students, university entrance exam preparation, and also for adults (high school, free exams, or university access). My approach as a teacher is based on something very simple: true understanding, not memorization. After years of teaching diverse students, I've found that when concepts are explained clearly and meaningfully, any student can progress confidently. I adapt completely to each student's level and pace. In the first few classes, I identify their difficulties and then develop a personalized plan. My classes combine three pillars: Clear explanations of concepts, using intuitive examples and avoiding unnecessary technical jargon; guided problem-solving exercises, especially exam-style exercises; and independent practice, where students learn to tackle problems on their own. A typical class would include: a brief review of previously covered material; an explanation of a key concept; direct application in step-by-step exercises; similar exercises for students to solve with my support; and recommendations and assignments focused on reinforcing what they've learned. My classes are designed for: High school students; university entrance exam preparation; and adults (adult high school, open exams, or university entrance). I enjoy teaching and I am characterized by my patience, my ability to adapt my explanations, and my commitment to ensuring that students not only pass but also understand what they are doing.
