My tutoring approach is centered around making math and physics concepts accessible, understandable, and enjoyable to all students, regardless of their previous experiences with the subject.
Teaching methodology:
- Simplify complex concepts: Math can be overwhelming, and many students struggle to understand it. I break down complex concepts into smaller, more manageable pieces to help students understand and build their knowledge gradually.
- Encourage active learning: I believe that the best way to learn math is by doing math. I encourage students to solve problems, ask questions, and think critically about math concepts.
- Use real-life examples: I use real-life examples to help students relate math concepts to the world around them and to show them how math can be useful and relevant in their lives.
- Provide feedback: Feedback is an essential part of the learning process. I provide feedback that is constructive, specific, and actionable to help students improve their understanding and problem-solving skills.
Typical Lesson Plan:
-> Introduce new concepts: I introduce new concepts in small, manageable pieces, making sure that the student has understood each step before moving on.
-> Work through practice problems: I give students a variety of practice problems to work on, ranging from basic to complex, to reinforce the concepts and help build problem-solving skills.
->Review and feedback: I review the student's work, provide feedback, and answer any questions they may have.
