Students are human being and they have the right to learn. When they come to learn something new, they should not be afraid or feel inferior. the teacher expect they do not know. It is the teacher's job to prepare the environment and find teaching methods to help the students to learn what they do not know. te teacher should talk slowly and keep asking questions to be sure that the student is following up.

I have 35 years experience in Teaching Math and Physics for high school students and first year university students. Before I start explaining the lesson I ask the students some question to know his/her background of the subjects. Then I explain the lesson step by step and I give the student a lot of problems to solve to enhance his/her learning.
