About Qi
I am currently teaching at a private high school, Algebra 2, Geometry and AP Physics 1. My current students range from 7th to 11th graders. I currently live on Manhattan, NYC. I am interested in teaching the following: 1. High school physics to college physics (AP Physics 1, 2 and C ) 2. The complete math curriculum all the way to Calculus. 3. High school geometry

I don't lecture. I share stories. These stories are about HOW and WHY a concept, a principle, a formula or a rule is the way they are. I don't teach methods. I guide students to discover the methods with me. Everything has to make sense. I will make sure your understanding is the first priority and help you to progress toward your goal. My goal? I want you to learn "how to learn well" and master it so that you don't need any tutors in a time frame that is as short as we can make it. I have a hobby in psychology. I understand the science of human brain and how we learn. I would like to impact more students and use what I know about science and psychology to turn underachievers to overachievers in shortest time. I have 5 years of experience as upper school math or physics teacher in NYC charter or private school. I have 2 years of experience in teaching in colleges. I have helped children to learn since my high school. I am a teacher at heart with deepest passion. I have a Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering but never regret a single day to become a teacher. I am proud to be a teacher for youth.
