About Peter
I have over 30 years of experience programming. I can program in Python, C, C++, Java, JavaFX, Fortran, MATLAB, and other languages. I have been tutoring Python since 2019, Java since 2017, C and C++ since 2015. I have a B.S. in math, an M.A. in physics, a Ph.D. in physics, and a postdoc in theoretical physics in Germany. For 5.5 years, I was a software engineer in industry. For 1.5 years I was a C++ models simulation programmer in industry. I have also spent many years programming in physics research and Heart Rate Variability research. I am an expert scientific programmer. Finally, I have had my own online tutoring business in math, physics, and computer science since 2017.

I tutor with an active approach, where the student participates during lessons. Screen sharing on both ends allows code to be developed or debugged.
