Hi, I'm Julia and I graduated with the 5th highest ATAR from Fort Street High School in 2025. I'm passionate about science, math, and helping students achieve their best with methods that work for them. I offer one-on-one tutoring via home visits, at public libraries, or online, based in the Hurstville to Rockdale area. Willing to travel.
Fort Street High School Achievements:
- Physics: Rank 1 yr 11 and 12, 98 Trial mark
- Chemistry: Rank 1 yr 11, Rank 2 yr 12, 98 Trial mark
- Award for 1st in year 10 science
- In year 11 I took accelerated Math Advanced, internal rank 2, HSC mark of 95
- I was also Economics rank 2 yr 11, rank 3 yr 12, and Engineering Studies rank 1 yr 11

My tutoring approach:
1. Emphasis on conceptual understanding rather than just memorisation
2. Personalised tutoring to cater to individual strengths and weaknesses
3. Tips and tricks for exam technique, ie. detailed and concise short answer responses, time management, calculation layout
4. Closely following the syllabus to ensure comprehensive ability and no exam-day surprises
Experience as a private tutor teaching high school students, including creating learning resources, tailored lesson plans, and giving practice questions/past papers.
Lessons are 1 hour long. My rate is $60/hr online, $70/hr in-person.
