About Joyce
Hello! My name is Dr. Joyce Pang, and I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Georgia. I spent over a decade teaching physics at the college level before transitioning to high school teaching, where I continue to share my passion for science. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I homeschooled my children and guided my daughter through Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. That experience deepened my commitment to education and inspired me to focus on helping younger students build strong foundations and confidence in math and science. With years of teaching experience at both the college and high school levels, I strive to make complex concepts clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. My goal is to meet students where they are and help them succeed, whether it’s in class, on standardized tests, or in developing lifelong problem-solving skills.

Hello, this is Dr. Pang. I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Statistics. I have more than 15 years of experience teaching physics at the college level, where I guided students through both introductory and advanced courses in mechanics, electricity & magnetism, and modern physics.
Currently, I teach AP Physics C and Honors Physics at the high school level, preparing students for the rigor of calculus-based physics and the AP exam. In addition to physics, I have taught high school mathematics and have two years of homeschooling experience, during which I worked one-on-one with students to provide individualized instruction.
Over the course of my career, I have taught a wide range of students—from high schoolers to college undergraduates—both in traditional classroom environments and in personalized one-on-one settings. My teaching style emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving strategies, and building student confidence. I focus on tailoring lessons to each student’s needs, helping them not only master the material but also develop the critical thinking skills needed for long-term success.
With a strong academic background and many years of experience across different settings, I am confident in my ability to help students excel in physics and mathematics.
