About Fjodors
I went into physics and planetary science to answer my existential questions I've had. Now I am familiar with the many applications there are to physics, but I believe what keeps people here is pure enthusiasm. Its source is different for everyone, mine lies in the graphical representations of the phenomena, such as how a system with three planets graphs as an infinitely complex fractal. I can help you find your particular enthusiasm, intuition for physics and provide the skills you need before a university.
My path took me from physics (BSc King's College London) to earth science (MSc University College London), back to planetary physics with Machine Learning. Still, I learn new concepts every day.

I help to prepare for A-level physics, build a strong understanding.
I also supervise personal projects in non-school topics, e.g. chaos theory, planet science, machine learning. They are great to stand out in a university application, particularly for Russell Group universities.
In a typical lesson of 1h, I start from introducing the topic from an engaging, intuitive approach. I help develop an understanding through questions and talk. One can only learn physics by applying their own mind onto the problems. Then, I connect the concepts to how they are treated in A-level assessments.

Fjodors is a great tutor who makes learning much less stressful. He explains difficult concepts clearly, and makes sure you actually understand the material rather than just giving you the answer.
