I am a physics major with a strong background in mathematics and applications of mathematics. I have experience tutoring middle and high school students and helping them to succeed and learn to apply what they have learned and not just regurgitate the formulas they have learned.

My teaching method involves making sure the student learns the basics and then doing practice problems to learn the topic. I believe practice problems are the best way to learn, and that simple memorization will not lead to actual learning of the material.
