About James
Hello! I'm a graduate Physics student from Imperial College London, and I'm looking forward to helping anyone and everyone with Maths, Physics and Music.
***MATHS & PHYSICS***
I explain difficult concepts using relevant, memorable examples that stick. Understanding something straight away rarely happens, it's just a case of finding the approach that clicks.
I'm friendly and super patient, with an unlimited tolerance for mistakes and errors. No one can be Einstein every day of the week!
***PIANO, VIOLIN & MUSIC THEORY***
On the music side, I am classically trained to Grade 8 in Piano and Violin, but have since played keys, drums, and electric violin in various bands. Music should be fun, expressive and creative! Once we reach this enjoyment, grades can come as a by-product.
I'll even make music theory fun through composition, analysing pop music, and listening games like "Guess what Mozart's going to do next".
Please get in contact for any further information. I'm willing to tutor any combination of subjects, and I'm very flexible. There are other subjects I'd be comfortable teaching at a primary school and secondary school level, so feel free to enquire about anything!
