About Vivienne
My interest in physics began with curiosity about motion, space, and the invisible forces shaping the universe. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Theoretical Physics, where I explored both classical and modern frameworks of understanding. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped students move from confusion to clarity through patient explanation and structured guidance.
I believe effective physics teaching requires empathy and adaptability. Many students struggle due to rushed instruction or lack of conceptual grounding. I focus on breaking ideas into logical steps, ensuring learners feel supported at every stage. My teaching emphasizes understanding why equations work, not just how to use them.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with scientific literature, simulations, and conceptual research. Teaching physics is rewarding because I witness learners gain confidence in their thinking. Helping students trust their reasoning abilities is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

Physics often feels overwhelming when formulas appear without context, so my lessons focus on building understanding from first principles. I guide students through mechanics, motion, forces, waves, electricity, and energy by explaining how physical laws describe patterns we observe in everyday life. Concepts are introduced gradually, using diagrams, thought experiments, and real-world examples that help learners visualize invisible processes. Each lesson is designed to replace fear with familiarity and confidence.
Lesson pacing is adapted carefully to individual learning levels. Beginners focus on basic laws, units, and conceptual understanding before applying mathematics. Intermediate learners develop problem-solving strategies, equation manipulation, and multi-step reasoning. Advanced learners refine derivations, analytical depth, and exam-focused application. Practice problems are carefully chosen to strengthen reasoning and accuracy rather than rote repetition.
Physics lessons also strengthen logical thinking and calm problem-solving habits. Students learn to approach complex questions methodically instead of rushing. My goal is to help learners feel empowered when facing physics challenges, building confidence that extends beyond academics into broader analytical thinking.
