About Fintan
I am a recent Physics (MSci) graduate from Queen's University, Belfast. I have previously tutored both Physics and Maths at both A Level and GCSE, helping students to realise their potential in these subjects. I have completed research at both Queen's University and at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire.

I see the key advantage in tutoring over teaching as the flexibility to tailor each lesson to the individual student. Some students require extra time with one to one instruction in order for concepts to fully sink in, other students require the extra push to gain confidence in their own abilities. One particular method might help one students but be completely useless with another. In my Physics degree, I was encouraged to approach problems from many different angles in order to find the best method, and I try to utilise this idea in tutoring.
