About Drue
My name is Drue Lubanski, and I have my master's in physics, with aspirations to earn my PhD. Not only do I have a lot of experience in physics and math, around 6 years, but I also have around 2 years teaching and tutoring professionally, and another 2-3 years tutoring on the side to friends and other college students. I am a pretty laid back and easy-going kind of guy with a passion for teaching my field, and learning new and difficult things.

To me, teaching centers around helping the students not only understand the material, but also to gain a deep intuition of the subject. When my students finish my class, my goal for them is to be able to solve unique and difficult problems in the discipline as well as the standard questions. I believe I achieve this by giving a personable down-to-earth lecture in conjunction with consistent homework that accurately represents the overarching concepts of the material.
One tenant of my teaching is practice. A normal lesson plan will involve a small overview of the material followed by going through typical problems of the subject step by step.
Typically, my lessons are aimed at advanced level high school students and college students, although I am willing to teach any one at any level.
I believe what sets me apart from other tutors is my personalization towards the student and persistence in helping them fully grasp the material. I truly believe that I can help any student, if willing, to understand and fully comprehend the lessons they seek to learn.
