About Vinod
I am a retired bureaucrat who served the Indian Forest Service for 38 years. I held positions of Chairman - Pollution Control Board, Head of Forest Force, and Director General of Forest in state government of J&K and Government of India respectively. My advanced degrees were in Physics, Mathematics and Education. I have been an avid scholar and thereby value education and learning as vital to life. I am passionate towards the cause of contributing to my community and want to do so by sharing my methods, skills, and knowledge with young minds shaping their academic & professional careers.

I focus on teaching Mathematics and Physics to students in Grades 4-10. Each session is planned to be 60 minutes long preferably in-person, either at my premises in South Bay Los Angeles or at the residential location of students. May also conduct sessions virtually on Zoom/Teams if not based in Southern California. My learning program is curated and specific to each individual student, hence will first orient to their curriculum and identify where they are facing difficulties. I maintain a two-way communication with my students with a friendly approach so that they take a keen interest in studies and enjoy the learning process.
