About Freya
I have experience getting my undergraduate degree. In being able to get this Bachelor's Degree I have found that both gaining skills of self-discipline and asking professors for guidance on work have made this achievement possible. These skills have allowed me to achieve a 3.49 GPA for my Bachelor's of Physics at Augustana College. My use of tutoring at Augustana and taking a tutoring class to get work as a tutor for my last semester gives me a level of preparation for tutoring work going forward.

My approach is to encourage student-led learning, with me giving useful visualizations and leading questions to power student learning of physics, math problems. My lesson plan will be an introduction from me and the tutee, the tutee then giving their questions and struggles with class material. Then I converse with the student on the plan of learning and write it down. I then go through the tutoring process with the tutee. Afterwards, I wrap up the tutoring process by recapping the tutee's progress and setting plans for future learning and/or tutoring. The main thing that sets me apart is the approach of meeting tutees at the level of comfort they have, with the science math knowledge, through guided questions. My lessons are meant for high school students in physics and math classes.
