About Mmapula
I am a Physics PhD student with five years experience tutoring university Physics courses at all undergraduate levels. The physics courses covered include most Science, Engineering and Health Sciences degrees offered in University. I've tutored mostly up to 30 students in a class and also offered one-on-one lessons. I can offer face-to-face lessons as well as online sessions.

My teaching approach for group lessons is based on a hybrid learning where I give in-depth lectures on a topic which is of interest to the students and also focuses on demostrations or problems solving intended to address student's needs. For one-on-one sessions, I encourage students to do self-analysis on topics they find challenging in order for me to understand their needs and type of learner they are. I then encourage self-learning and critical thinking skills and equip the learner with problem solving techniques.

Details
For primary level I charge R120 per hour and for high school level each one hour lesson is R150 for online lessons. For face-to-face lessons, the rate is R180 per hour for both levels.
University lessons offered online are R180 per hour for all undergraduate levels. The rate changes to R190, R200 and R210 for first, second and third year face-to-face sessions. If the student is willing to travel to my place, I can deduct 20% of the face-to-face rate.
