About Myra
As a Professor Emerita of Physics, I have had three years of experience in teaching high school physics and 26 years' experience in teaching introductory college physics as well as technical physics. After retiring from full-time teaching, I taught part-time for another twenty years. Because of this vast experience, I was asked by the American Association of Physics Teachers to become involved in writing the high school physics exam known as Physics Bowl. When I first became involved in Physics Bowl, it was a test for American high school physics students. It has since spread internationally with upwards of 10,000 shigh school students taking the exam each year.

A retired physics professor with 50 years of teaching high school and introductory college physics classes is looking to help introductory physics students to learn basic physical concepts and problem-solving techniques. The student will learn how to identify the physical quantities and how to select the appropriate equation to solve a problem. A good review of mathematics maybe necessary to be able to actually solve the equation to find the solution.
