About Tom
I am a 4th year MPhys physics student and former competitive tennis player who has spent the summer casually tutoring maths to students in younger years at school and friends of family. I have also taught tennis in the past so have tutored people of a range of abilities from a variety of different backgrounds

My teaching method involves gauging the area of the topic the student struggles with and focusing on that while working through a lot of example questions step by step, allowing the student to take the lead and explain their thought process while working through the question.
After a base level of understanding has been provided I will give questions linking other areas of maths to help improve the fundamental understanding of the student and to show them how to identify each topic from key values and information
