About Katie
I've always been very passionate about Maths and Science and hope to share my passion with you. At GCSES I achieved 9's in Maths and all the sciences, as well as an A^ (A with distinction) in Further Maths and an A in Additional Maths. At A-level I achieved 4 A*s, in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and am going on to pursue a Physics degree at the University of Bristol. As a result you can be assured that I greatly enjoy the subjects as well as having an in-depth knowledge of them which I will be able to share. I have lots of experience tutoring Maths and Physics and have done over 400 hours of lessons over zoom.
I find tutoring very enjoyable as it's great to see students begin to understand topics that they once struggled with, so I look forward to working with anyone who wishes to improve.

I teach Maths and Physics at GCSE level (including Further Maths GCSE and Additional Maths FSMQ)
All my lessons are held online via zoom, giving you the flexibility to take lessons from your home at a time that suits you. This also means that if you want I can record the lesson for you to use as revision, so you can always refer back and learn from the lesson long after it has finished. I mostly take a problem-solving based approach to learning where we will work through questions together, as I believe that is the best approach to maths or sciences. Along the way I will give exam technique tips or provide alternative methods to complicated questions. I am also happy to do more content-based lessons upon request--for example if there were topics missed out on due to the pandemic which you need a complete refresher on.
