About Sophia
My interest in physics began when I first learned about motion and energy during my early education. I became fascinated by how scientific laws could explain natural events and technological systems that we experience every day. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher education in physics and eventually complete a Master’s degree in the subject.
Over the past 8 years, I have taught physics to students from different academic backgrounds and helped them understand complex scientific concepts more clearly. Many learners initially feel that physics is difficult because it combines mathematical calculations with theoretical reasoning. My teaching approach focuses on explaining ideas in simple steps so students can gradually build their understanding and confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific discoveries and learning how physics contributes to modern technology, engineering, and space exploration. Continuing to explore these areas allows me to bring interesting real-world examples into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence and curiosity in physics is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career.

Physics is a subject that explains how the universe works by studying the relationships between matter, energy, and motion. My lessons focus on helping students clearly understand the core principles of physics such as motion, forces, work and energy, waves, electricity, and magnetism. Instead of simply memorizing formulas, students learn how these equations describe real physical situations and how they can be applied to solve practical scientific problems.
During lessons, students learn to approach physics questions using logical reasoning and structured problem-solving methods. Beginners start by learning fundamental concepts such as speed, acceleration, forces, and basic energy relationships. Intermediate learners explore Newton’s laws of motion, graphical analysis of motion, and work-energy principles. Advanced students study more complex topics such as wave properties, electricity, and momentum conservation. Regular practice exercises and step-by-step explanations help students strengthen their analytical thinking and improve their confidence in solving physics problems.
As students continue studying physics, they begin to notice how physical principles explain many everyday phenomena such as transportation, sports movements, electrical devices, and natural forces. Recognizing these connections helps students appreciate the importance of physics in understanding the world around them. My goal is to help students develop strong reasoning skills and confidence while learning physics concepts.
