About Agrim
Hi, I’m Agrim—a passionate science enthusiast and a current Bachelor of Science student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Computer Science. Back in high school, physics wasn’t just a subject I excelled in; it was one I genuinely enjoyed. I consistently performed at the top of my class and was known for my ability to break down difficult concepts in simple, intuitive ways. What started as helping classmates prepare for exams eventually grew into a real passion for teaching. I’ve tutored peers in physics and other science subjects informally, and I’ve always loved seeing that moment when something finally makes sense for someone. I take pride in being patient and methodical in my approach. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs. Whether you’re struggling to understand motion and forces or want to get ahead in electromagnetism, I can guide you through it with confidence and structure.

Hi, I’m Agrim! Physics was one of my favorite subjects in high school-just behind my current passion, computer science-and I was an exceptional student in it. I believe that success in physics always comes down to a strong grasp of the fundamentals. That’s how I teach: from the ground up. I make sure my students truly understand the “why” behind every concept before moving forward. Once those core ideas click, everything else builds on top much more naturally. I tailor each session to the student’s level and pace, focusing on clarity, step-by-step problem-solving, and building confidence. I’m patient and explain things from different angles until it makes sense-because I know what it feels like to be stuck, and more importantly, how great it feels when it finally makes sense. I’ve tutored other students back in high school (voluntarily), and I’m now offering structured online tutoring for high school-level physics. I also have a solid understanding of Year 10 biology, Year 12 chemistry, and senior-level mathematics, though I’m currently only offering lessons in physics. Lesson durations are flexible: I offer anything from focused 45-minute sessions to deeper 2-hour lessons (with a 5-minute break in between to help the brain rest and absorb information better). My availability is: Thursday: 4 PM – 8 PM Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM Other days: Just check in with me-I’ll confirm based on my uni calendar. These lessons are best suited for high school students (years 9-12) who want to strengthen their understanding, get ahead, or simply make physics less stressful and more interesting.
